While the Cold Springs Fire was declared fully “out” on Sunday, July 17, work continues at the Office of Emergency Management to analyze the response to the fire and to continually improve upon community outreach and communications during an emergency like the fire.
Information that was posted here during the wildfire will continue to remain here while residents make insurance claims and other “after action” activities take place. PLEASE NOTE: information contained within this blog that was maintained during the fire is not necessarily current or applicable to today. For example, the fire ban instituted by the Boulder County Sheriff on July 9, the day the fire started. was amended twice since that initial date.
