City of Boulder Older Adult Services and Mental Health Partners are offering a virtual community conversation highlighting how older adults might be impacted by the tragic shooting and ways to cope. The discussion is led by Dr. David Remmert and Richard Williams, LCSW. Dr. Remmert is a licensed psychologist who serves as Manager of Older Adult Services at Mental Health Partners. Richard Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works in the Older Adult Program with Mental Health Partners. This conversation will begin with a discussion of common and normal reactions to traumatic events to be followed by an open conversation about the recent trauma in Boulder.
