First responders are reporting successful fire operations overnight. Wind shifted in the favor of first responders who were able to keep the fire at 190 acres. Wind is a concern, but responders feel confident fire lines will hold. Containment is currently at 35%. First responders continue to report that previous mitigation efforts continue to play a key role in the successful fire suppression efforts currently underway. At this time no structures have been lost or damaged. Over 150 firefighters from multiple agencies are supporting today’s firefighting efforts.
