The current size of the fire is estimated to be 450 acres.
The weather forecast has the wind direction shifting to the south, causing the evacuation order for parts of the Town of Lyons.
Preliminary reports are that two structures have been lost, but efforts remain focused on life safety and firefighting efforts, so the final determination of the number of impacted structures is still to be determined.
We have around 100 people in the field working on firefighting efforts. Air support has also been used on the fire.
