The National Weather Service has issues a Flash Flood Warning for the Stone Canyon burn scar area until 6:00 p.m. tonight. Excessive rainfall over the warning area will cause debris flows near steep terrain. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation, and other loose materials. Please pay attention to your surroundings if you are in the burn scar area, including Stone Canyon Road and the Stone Canyon HOA, and take action if necessary. If you encounter flood waters climb to safety.
