Air Quality Alert Issued

Due to heavy smoke from the Stone Canyon and Alexander Mountain fires, Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) is urging residents and visitors to take steps to protect their health.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Regional Air Quality Council issued an Action Day Alert in Boulder County that will remain in effect until at least 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31.
To get up-to-date air quality information, visit www.airnow.gov. Local air quality information is available from state monitors located at the Boulder Reservoir, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce and at the Civic Building in Longmont.
