Call Center Opens at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Dec. 19; Call 911 For Emergencies Only

To coincide with Xcel Energy’s anticipated Public Safety Power Shutoff due to the forecast of high winds and low relative humidity, which will increase fire risk, the Office of Disaster Management Call Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 19, to assist with answering general questions about the ongoing wind event. The Call Center will also be open form 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20. Call Center phone line – 303-413-7730.

Things to consider for tomorrow:

Anticipate highway closures north and south of Boulder.

Avoid driving unless absolutely necessary.

Please only call 911 if you have an emergency.

The call center will not be able to answer specific questions about utility operations or service restoration. For these questions, contact your utility provider.

The city and county use the Reachwell app to provide emergency information to individuals who speak languages other than English. It is important that Reachwell users select both of the following channels in the app: BOCOalert AND BOCOinfo, to ensure they are receiving all messages.
