The Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services (HHS) will be opening a Disaster Assistance Center at Nederland High School (597 Eldora Rd.) beginning at 9 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 13. Case managers will be on hand to meet with those with special assistance needs resulting from the Cold Springs Fire and help connect them with a range of supports for which they may qualify. In some cases, these supports can be delivered on-site. Disaster Assistance Center hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
People impacted or displaced by the Cold Springs Fire can also call HHS at 303-441-1000 or come to our Boulder office at 3460 North Broadway (no appointment necessary) for assistance.
