BOCO Info

BOCO Info is used to share updates during disasters for things like incident updates, community resources, road closures, sheltering information and information about other community impacts. To receive these types of updates, text the word “BOCOinfo” to the number 888777.

What is BOCO Info?

BOCO Info is NOT the same as the initial emergency alert systems. To receive emergency alerts for evacuation, shelter-in-place, or climb to higher ground advisories, warnings, or orders use BOCO Alert or the ReachWell app.

Texts through BOCO Info will include a brief subject line, for example, Shelter Update, with a link that users will need to click to access the full message. The system does not have the ability to share maps or images. These visual resources will be available, as always, at www.boulderodm.gov.

ReachWell translation app.

Users can also receive the update messages in over 100 languages through use of the ReachWell translation app. Community members who are interested in receiving content in a language other than English can learn more and download the ReachWell translation app at www.boulderodm.gov/preparedness/reachwell. Once you have downloaded the app, add BOCO Alert and BOCO Info to receive both the emergency alerts (BOCO Alert) and incident updates (BOCO Info).
