Join Boulder Office of Disaster Management as we participate in this webinar with Healthy Air and Water Colorado – participants will learn about the following topics:

Disaster Preparedness Basics

Join Boulder Office of Disaster Management for this 90-minute workshop to increase your personal preparedness! During this session you’ll learn about Boulder County’s hazards, emergency alerts, personal risk assessment, and start building own disaster preparedness plan. All participants will leave with a disaster preparedness supply kit that includes a backup battery charger, a water filter, and headlamp!

Disaster Preparedness for Individuals with Access and Functional Needs

Join Boulder Office of Disaster Management as we partner with Center for People with Disabilities to learn what you can do to be ready for the next time disaster strikes. This workshop will cover emergency alerting, personal planning, and specific considerations and stories of lived experience for people living with disabilities. All participants will receive a preparedness supply kit with a backup batter charger, headlamp, and water filter.
