Make a direct impact on disaster preparedness programming and educational materials offered in our community by joining the Boulder Office of Disaster Management for one of our Community Preparedness Focus Groups.

By participating, you’ll have the opportunity to evaluate educational materials and current program offerings, and provide input on the types of programs, educational opportunities, and other initiatives you’d like to see developed and implemented to help community members prepare for disasters.

Boulder Fire Rescue Annual Open House

Visit Boulder Office of Disaster Management at Boulder Rural Fire Rescue’s annual open house – stop by our booth to pick up preparedness educational materials, and spin our trivia wheel for your chance to win preparedness supply prizes!

Boulder Rural Fire Rescue’s open house is a family-friendly event that will feature demonstrations from first responders, response vehicles, and information booths from community partners.

Disaster Preparedness for Individuals with Access and Functional Needs

Join Boulder Office of Disaster Management as we partner with Center for People with Disabilities to learn what you can do to be ready for the next time disaster strikes. This workshop will cover emergency alerting, personal planning, and specific considerations and stories of lived experience for people living with disabilities. All participants will receive a preparedness supply kit with a backup batter charger, headlamp, and water filter.
