Additional fire-affected structures identified

A Damage Assessment Team was once again escorted by the Incident Management Team to survey damage identified by ground crews.

The land survey resulted in identifying two additional homes that are destroyed. One of the homes also had an outbuilding that was also destroyed (for a total of 3 destroyed structures).

  • 2315 Ridge Road
  • 2454 Ridge Road

These destroyed structures are in addition to the three already identified on July 10:

  • 171 Bonanza Drive
  • 37 N. Sky View Drive
  • 325 Sherwood Drive

This is an active fire with fire crews still working in the area. The area is still a mandatory evacuation zone and residents should not be inside the zone. Currently there are 65 structures within the fire perimeter. At this time, there are no identified homes in the immediate path of the fire. Shifting winds and high temperatures could potentially put more homes in danger.

Cooler temperatures are in the area today with highs in the 70s. Winds will be an issue again and become somewhat stronger than yesterday. Late morning to afternoon winds will shift from NW to W gusting to 30-40 mph. Humidity will range from 15-19%.
