#NCARFire power remains on at all evacuated areas at this time

The #NCARFire public information call center will close today at 10 p.m., and will be open tomorrow, Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 303-413-7730.

The East Boulder Community Center, 5660 Sioux Drive, which is the evacuation point for the #NCARFire, will be an overnight shelter for tonight, March 26.

As the wind dies down, Boulder residents may see more smoke around the #NCARFire area. This is not an indication of additional fire activity.

Mental Health Partners is deploying a counselor to the East Boulder Community Center evacuation point (5660 Sioux Drive in Boulder) to provide emotional support to anyone who needs it.

Road closures with a law enforcement presence are: Eldorado Springs Drive (170 west) Highway 93 northbound from Highway 128 (and Hwy. 128 as the intersection with Hwy. 93) Table Mesa Drive west of Broadway Lehigh Street at Bear Mountain Drive

Boulder firefighters are working actively in the Stony Hill neighborhood and south to protect homes IF the winds shift west and cause the fire to spread toward the City of Boulder. The NCAR Fire started around 2 p.m. and is currently estimated at 126 acres with zero containment at this time.
