Food and Trash Drop off – Updated

Spoiled food and general trash can be dropped off at no charge to fire-affected and evacuated residents this afternoon (Tuesday) and from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesday at:

  • The dirt pull-off at the intersection of West Magnolia Road and Highway 72 and 119
  • Fisherman’s Parking Lot, near the Teen Center (151 East St.) (Also collecting recyclables.)
  • On Sugarloaf Road at the intersection of Old Townsite Road

The Nederland Transfer Station will also be accepting spoiled food, general trash, and recyclables and is open for extended hours from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 through Sunday, July 17.

Hazardous waste and electronics will not be accepted at any location.
