Nederland waste transfer station remains closed. Residents can drop off waste at standard rates at the following locations: Allenspark Transfer Station, State Highway 7 and County Road 84, and Western Disposal Transfer Station, 5880 Butte Mill Road, Boulder.
Allenspark Transfer Station is closed Tuesdays and Thursdays, open Wednesday and Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Western Disposal Transfer Station is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Residents can also drop off waste at Gilpin County Transfer Station for $4 per bag. They are open Wednesday through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
