The East Boulder Community Center, 5660 Sioux Drive, is now open as an evacuation point. Evacuees are invited to go there for more information and resources. Household pets are welcome. Emergency personnel will determine shelter needs as the situation unfolds.

The media staging area is being moved for better visibility to the southern edge of the same NCAR parking lot by the electric vehicle (EV) charging station.

A Public Information Officer (PIO) is enroute. All other community members are being asked to stay away from the area to allow emergency crews to respond.

The Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) evacuation area map that went out was wider than required right now. The actual evacuation area is from NCAR to Baseline Road, east to US 36, back down to Broadway, and straight west to NCAR again. We will post a map very shortly.
